Greetings In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is with joy that I have accepted the call to become the Rector of Trinity Church in Mt. Pocono. My time of becoming acquainted with the members of your search committee and with your vestry has made abundantly clear what I already knew. Beloved, this call is ordained by God.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a life-long Episcopalian, the daughter of a priest and also married to one! Charley and I have celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on March 31st, 2001. We each have two children, all of whom are adults now. And we are blessed with four grandchildren, including twin boys who are two years old.

I enjoy reading and doing various kinds of handiwork, as well as walking and swimming. We appreciate good music, and look forward to the jazz festival. Visiting art galleries is a great treat for us, and now there will be one in our own front yard! Imagine that!

All of us come together to be the Church in God's World. Everyone of every age, gender, background has wonderful gifts to be honored and used to the glory of God. Jesus teaches us that we are all God's children and that each one is welcome at the table. We gather at that table each Sunday, each Lord's Day, to be nourished in Word and Sacrament. And then we go forth into the world to live the Gospel among those we encounter day by day. It is my prayer that our life together in the years ahead will be a blessing to the community in which we live.
